Loaf looks good Uni, temperature and time please. I don't think anyone has cooked a loaf in the baking tray, correct me if I'm wrong girls.  Did you line the dish?

Looks good Uni.  Have you got the Philips XL model or the Viva?

And the baking tray you described, I see it has a handle so that was the extra item you bought.  I thought you were saying you cooked it in the base of the a/f but have now worked out what it is.  I have that dish too.

I call it a baking dish Uni, I bought mine as an extra but it's really for the Viva model.  Is this the same as yours?

i just made some rice' a tad under cooked but ok if using for fried rice ,next will try hot boiling water at the start

1/2 cup rice
1 1/2 cups of water
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of oil

cook for 20 mins @ 200
cover with foil i used a plate for 10 mins

maybe if i started with boiling water it only would need 20 mins or less
not sure if i will make it again i like using the PC for cooking rice

They had a special on JD, free delivery and free baking dish and no interest 4 payments.  I bought the baking dish also for 19.00. And paid postage but have used it heaps so no regrets.
