Kayc, thats a great tip using miracle spray for pans. I hadnt thought to use it like that and certainly makes light work of it.

Thanks for sharing your info Judy.  I read on the sight they were releasing a double kebab holder and pan but sometime in 2014 isnt particularly helpful.

We had a roast chicken last night. Wow it was so juicy. I cooked it for 30 minutes at 180. I had rubbed it with some garlic paste of Tenina's and oil. I put a cut lemon inside it. While the chicken rested I cooked baked vegetables.  It was a 1.3 chicken.

Next time I will tie his/ her wings in a bit.

Love it Yvette.  ;D ;D
No BZB I wrapped it in foil to rest. It was to help keep it warm.

FYI I've just had a very pleasant phonecall from a person at TVSN regarding the return of my Airfryer and I was given a reply paid address, reference number and advice to use signature on delivery option ($2.95 which will be refunded by TVSN). He said it might take a few weeks depending on the number of returns they have.
I also spoke to Phillips about the matter and the person I spoke to there was very helpful too.
Makes me confident to deal with TVSN again too -best thing is no need to keep the receipt as it is all stored on my email and their computer system :)
Always nice to hear about nice service me thinks :)

Jam, very comforting. Hope it is returned quickly for you.

Cookie your chook does look good. I havent tried any large pieces of meat yet.  I bought some mt barker free range chicken meatballs when shopping today and cooked them fora quick lunch. They were delicious and cooked by the time I hung aload of washing. About 7 mins.
I love veges roasted in the af.

I ended up ringing Philips re cleaning the filter.  With the technology they use, there is no filter in there as such, just a vent which you wipe over from the outside. He said to just clean the outside and the heating coil with a soft, moist cloth.  I also asked him about any accessories planned in the future for this model and as far as he knows they are only looking at the double layer rack sometime this year.  Any new accessories will be announced on their website when it happens.

thanks Judy for making the effort to ring Philips.  i did wonder about whether there is a filter or not... i had herbs on some potato wedges i was cooking... and found that my kitchen bench wall was covered with herbs, blown out the back of the Airfryer!!! now it makes sense. Thanks again Judy!!!

Missed you Uni, I hope it was a fruitful trip this time.  Looking forward to seeing how you use your air fryer.
