Sounds delicious Hally. Do you put it in a tray that fits the airfryer or just as is?

I took the metal tray out. I have a round pyrex dish that just fits in the AF. I use this to cook whole chickens

Do you mean you are taking the actual wire basket out Hally?

Does the hot air still do the bottom of the chicken, or is that why you turned it?
Last time I cooked my chicken on the wire basket so the hot air could come up under it.

I take the wire basket out and rest the whole chicken on the bottom. Cooks perfectly like this.
Last night, reheated some of Astarras Golden Chicken Nuggets. Did them in the Stainless Steel Dish. As we were having stir fry, I placed some Cashews in with the nuggets. Good.

I cooked mine straight in the basket, it was quite a large one, before I put it in I pressed down hard on the breast to slightly flatten. I thought iwas in trouble when I tried to open the draw as the legs had pushed up and blocked the opening. Next time I will truss I think.

I've just put mine in the basket. We can't get over how lovely and juicy they are.

I cooked chestnuts in AF today. Think it was 24 minutes on 200. I was waiting for them to go black but they didn't. They were large chestnuts and perfectly cooked and easy to peel.

I'm not doing well with my honey roast chicken in the AF 😢 I'm trying to get it right, but the honey marinade keeps getting burnt. So I wrap up in baking paper and foil in various temperature. Then unwrap to cook the bird further. A lot of times the bird would not be cooked completely. Still persevering as it is a very, very tasty roast.
