I've never had strong dough like yours that likes to lift and tilt the lid, mine normally starts oozing out the MC hole  did it work out alright DJ?

I have neer used bread improver. Maybe that is the trick.

I love it DJ. Looks kinda cute. My sourdough from yesterday rested in the fridge overnight and is only now beginning to rise. I think it should taste nice though.

I only rest the lid on top.....  Not close it. It was fine.
DHnsays says bread was good., he just had breaky.

Gert I won't ever use bread improver, it is full of nasties, however I do now add a scant half teaspoon of vit c powder, which speeds it up a bit.

I guess I have no need to speed things up here in this climate so won't bother with either. I have no trouble proving dough.

I went out this morning to buy more yeast, and it took longer than expected... So although I'd put the bowl in a cool place it happened again. Lovely big 2lb loaf though.
Found a bakery ten miles away and it was much cheaper than by post, plus I was going to run out, as the postage people only send out mon to Thursday.

No photo too embarrassed. I have just spent an hour cleaning the top of my cooker Why because my pressure cooker threw a wobbly by not wanting to cook 1kg of chopped up Seville oranges.I thought I would be clever and give it a go Never gain!

I always wonder about that happening when using my PC CC, did it actually blow the lid off? I thought they were triple safety locks or something to stop that happening.

I'm a little scared of pressure cookers. They remind me of opening champagne bottles. What a mess CC. Like GF's art suggestion.
