Thanks so much, i did it.
Its my soft serve ice cream machine.
my kids love it.

I have heaps of bench space, so i leave my KA and ice cream machine in one corner.

Super Kitchen, Obbie!

Of course now you will be expected to produce more photos... ;D   But only as warranted - interesting projects, new recipes, etc.

Well done. I like the view from the window.

Ok, well, here goes....this is my kitchen (if it works) I'm not really a huge fan of the kitchen, it just fells badly set out, and i always seem to run out of bench space (I'm a VERY  messy cook  ;D ) Its a rental house so I cant do much about it. At least its clean in the photos LOL  ;D

It doesn't matter how much space we have Kell, it is never enough but the island cupboard has a good working surface on it ;)

Yeah, that island is where I do everything. You can fit a fair bit on it at once. Handy, coz the other little benches are always full of appliances (or dishes!  :-)))

Very nice Kell.
It looks like you have the drawer-type dishwasher.  How do you like it?

My boss had two of the Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwashers and referred to them as the  "Lemon Twins" as it seemed that one or both were always having problems.

I remember camping out at his home for two days while he was away on a trip, waiting for the service people to arrive.
Finally on the second day they showed up at 4 p.m., worked a short time and said they were leaving and would return the following day.
I told them that they would either finish the job or they wouldn't be paid as I would cancel the work order.
I lived 90 miles away and I sure wasn't going to spend my days off waiting around for them to get on with it.

They worked till after 7, complaining all the way but at least the DWs were fixed, at least for a while.  Not long after my boss got new ones from Sears.

Mine are probably 8 years old now and I've had the technician out 3 times I think.  My biggest problem is with the technician who comes, he is the most ignorant person, doesn't look you in the eye when he speaks and grunts at times when you speak to him. He doesn't fix all the problems you have mentioned either.  I have asked them to send a different chap but he obviously does our area.  I will let them know when I buy a new dish washer that I am not buying a F & P because of him  >:( >:(  I had been pretty happy with my machine in the early years but now I am doing so much more cooking, I think I need a 'normal' type dishwasher as I am generally doing at least 2 loads a day now and not one like I used to. For people living on their own though, I think they are great.

My parents have decided to renovate their kitchen (and it will probably be finished before ours too, even though they havent started yet  :'() and they were trying to decide whether or not to put in a dishwasher - they were considering the F&P drawer one, but I will pass on your comments.

I've had a F&P 2 drawer dishwasher for 11 years and love it. We have had the technician out to it twice. The last time he declared the top drawer dead but we are able to continue using the bottom one. I have always liked being able to have 1 drawer washing while I continue cooking and use the second drawer to put dirty dishes in. On an average day with just 4 of us we would create only enough to fill 1 drawer.
I also had a F&P washing machine which required more TLC than the dish drawer and we had the same technician over the past 12 years. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient but has now retired so we will see if the new one changes my opinion of F&P.
