Thank goodness Judy, I made butter today also - bought 2, 500mls of cream and did it in one go. Will have second thought next time.  I always do a litre at a time. Wonder what the problem was?

Judy that all sounds very scarey. It will be interesting to see what your consultant says. I'm glad it's going again.
I've just peaked on the computer and have been reading about the horrid storms over Chookie's way. I'm not overly fond of storms. Hope everyone is ok and around Melbourne etc too.

I've had ethe same thing happen whilst making butter JD and you are correct about the water getting where it shouldn't. My seal was the problem and since buying a new one no problem. I had to leave my TMX several hours to "dry out" before being able to use it again. Glad to hear you are able to use it again now.  :o

Glad to see you are up and running again, Judy.  It would be bad enough for your TMX to go wrong on a normal day, but for a break down when you are planning a get together, well, that would be stressful.  At least you did have a back up plan but good that you didn't need it.

Hi Judy I had the same problem yesterday ,i spilled some liquid over the temp.buttons. The display was all over the place. My remedy was to put it in the sun for an hour or so and that did the trick. It dried itself out. Highly geared electronics and moisture do not mix. It is working again with no problems at all. But it's good hear that you are back on track again. Frans
