On the subject of tweets and SMS texts, number plates are another issue. Trying to decode some of those is an interesting task!

Haven't tried twitter yet but some number plates are 'interesting' if you manage to decode them.

Back to the subject of the spelling correction of Mangement in the heading
 Welcoming Center, Mangement and General Chat,
it is many months since this has been pointed out.

Can I make the suggestion that in the “Inserting new recipes the heading “people” be changed to “portions”?

All these dreaded teachers.  I am one too.  I try my best to ensure that my spelling is perfect.  Teacher children in an international school means that I see some interesting attempts at English spelling.  I think I am rather accurate except when I incorrectly allow MS Word to change practise to practice. It does my bosses head in when she corrects my reports.

I used to check and recheck my reports Lee as I hated getting them back with lots of little stickers sticking out for corrections.
My pet hate is seeing things with incorrect spelling in the community, or even from sign writers.

Oops!  And after such a comment and I make a spelling error. Typing in an iPad is so much harder.  Forgive me all.

You can get a keypad for it.   I did medical transcribing for years and on the computer type well over 100 wpm (did 90+ on an electric TW) but I still occasionally transpose letters but usually only in small words, form/from the most common error.

To be honest I wouldn't correct peoples spelling mistakes on the forum as sadly some people can't spell. I don't think I've seen it on here but on other forums  'resipee.' 'Recieve' is another of my pet things. I need to get a life but they do bug me.
