What apps do you recommend?
My recipe box - your recipes, finally organized
$2.99........easy to transfer recipes from the net, and enter your own, add photo's and edit. I spent a good chunk of last night importing recipes
Robogourmet - $6?......thermomix recipes, over 400.
Please feel free to add to list.

I have had so much fun with the free Kindle app, you can download every book and magazine you have ever purchased for free and read them on the iPad. The many image/photo editing apps are great also
Siri app saves lots of time as it understands what you say, you are able to talk to Siri as you would to a person, it does what you say (without the argument or justification - ha, ha) you can find the information you need and Siri then answers you. It’s like you’re having a conversation with your iPhone and after all this I realised that this thread is apps for iPad not the iPhone - oh well now you have more irrelevant info

Cookie we had fun Christmas eve passing the iPhone with the Siri app around the table to see whether each person's instruction could be understood - hilarious can be Chinese whispers with iPhone

I've just had a play on the ipad. I think I have a few things to learn about it, it took me ages to try and turn it on, and then DH came to my rescue.
I think I love it though.

Do not get angry birds. Be warned. Do not even think about it. Say no to temptation. Repeat after me, I WILL NOT DOWNLOAD ANGRY BIRDS!

Also, do not download Smurfs! I spent about four months playing Smurfs and would have to stop in the middle of meetings to harvest my crops! People thought I was nuts.

It sounds as bad as the Tamagotchie craze a few years ago. I had to take DD's to school because she wasn't allowed to.

Ooh, I love Angry Birds - it is the only thing I have done on DD's iPad. My 3 yr old grandson showed me how to play it
