Pastry dough then lemonaid, lemonaid, then more lemonaid.  I have made Hollandaise twice which was not very successful.  The second time was much better than the first though.  If at first you don't succeed......
I have made many things since.  The poor thing never seems to get a rest.  :)
Off hand (and I'm limited with time so can't go and check for you) but on either the recipes section of www.thermomix.com.au or on www.tenina.com, Tenina has posted an improved Hollandaise recipe.
Sorry, I just noticed this now.  I have been crazy busy.  I searched around both sites and I must be blind.  I couldn't find anything.  I must be blind. : )

Woerd this is the one my DD made quite successfully.
4 egg yolks
130g unsalted butter
20-25g lemon juice
S & P to taste

Insert butterfly.  Place all ingredients into TM bowl and cook 8 minutes 90oC on speed 3. If the butter is cold it may take a bit longer to cook but keep your eye on it as she didn't need any extra time and used eggs straight from the fridge.  Remove from bowl and serve immediately.

Then there was a German one posted somewhere on here but we haven't made this version.

4 egg yolks
100g butter
80g cream
1/4 teaspn white pepper
1/4 - 1/2 tspn salt
10-15 mls lemon juice
Cook 6 minutes 80oC on speed 4

Make the most of every day, you never know what is around the corner.

Not blind woerd - just that it is not set out simply.

http://thermorecipes.blogspot.com/2008/10/october-gratin-cups-new-hollandaise.html

"New Hollandaise

Ingredients
4 egg yolks
130g unsalted butter
juice 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste

Method
Place all ingredients into TM bowl and insert Butterfly attachment.
Cook at 90 degrees for 8 minutes on speed 3.

General Tips
Hollandaise is still an art, even in the very easy to use method we have here, so bear in mind that the time may vary slightly depending on the freshness of your yolks and the coldness of your butter. If you like a mousse consistency then you may add a minute or so to the cooking time if necessary.
The best test for fresh asparagus is the 'snap' test. The stalks should snap fairly close to the bottom of the asparagus if fresh.

I cant remember exactly which one I made FIRST, but I know I did those - mashed potato, cooked rice, sorbet and butter!! All before the end of week.  :D

Used TM alot for chopping vegies and herbs though as well as smoothies.

Sometimes I think I need second bowl so I can keep going, rather than stopping and clean!  :-))

Cheers!

I got my TMX on a Saturday afternoon.  I made an apple pie for my daughter that night.  I used the pastry recipe from the book and "winged it" to stew the apples.  It worked a treat!!

Lemon sorbet! I have made just about everything else since but still nervous to try risotto again as my first try was a disaster.

Vege stock concentrate I think, it's hard to remember. I made the hollandaise from the EDC, and it worked really well. I tried the cream puffs recently as a guy at a cooking class was talking about how good his were - good flavor but not very puffed! My cooking teacher mum tells me i didn't get the oven right!
