Hello from perth!
« on: January 16, 2012, 10:42:36 am »
Hello there!!!

Im Tina, from perth! I have had my thermomix for about 4 months now. I have to say I dont use it that much, and i must change that!! I ALWAYS make mash potato in it as its the best!!!!!
Im currently making the apricot chicken risotto in it, which is "done" by the thermomix recipe but the rice is not done yet!!

Anyways, I look forward to chatting to you all and learning more about my thermomix!

Hi Tina, welcome to the forum. You really must use your TMX more and I'd suggest you check out CP's favourite list of recipes as a starting point.  I can vouch for many of those recipes as can a lot of our members.

Hi and welcome Tina. I always ask Perth folks, are you south of the river or north?

Welcome. I think after our initial enthusiasm when we get our TM and go crazy in the kitchen, that dies down a bit and then we discover the forum and go nuts again with creating and replicating recipes- I have to say in 18 months since buying my TM I am still just as excited as ever in discovering new ways to use it!

To true. I found out how to skin almonds in mine yesterday. Ever so easy and it is much quicker than other ways.

Welcome to the forum Tina. There are many good recipes here and many knowledgeable people.

I agree with JD. Cookie please share how to remove the skins from almonds in the TM and would it work for hazelnuts?
