Missed it :-(. Oh well it'll teach me to mess around.

Scrap that! It said I'd missed out on the deal but then I received an email and when I clicked on the product again I was able to buy it.  Very strange! So, they are still available at the moment for anybody else who was buying.

Yes kt2 mine is the Breville fast slow cooker. It steams , sears, slow cooks and pressure cooks and very easy to operate. I love it but I am sure they are all good and all do the same things. The recipe booklet it came with is pretty poor but there are some good pressure cooking books around. I got the AWW one and Suzanne Gibb's on the recommendation of our foru members.  :D

Thanks MF! I'll check out those books  ;D
I must admit I'm looking forward to your beef rendang recipe too!  ;) :D

So you are tempted Jen? ;D LOL
You won't regret it as they are great machines and so versatile.

So tempted that I just bought one lol.
DH wanted me to get one that we can use on the boat, i am sick of carting stuff back and forwards so will just have to buy another sort for the boat. lol.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

It's hard to measure because of the shape but it's about 34-35cm tall...here's a pic that might help...I was a bit surprised at just how big it is, but it does do a lot.

Thank for doing that for me jamberie.

Good luck with that kt2. Let us know what you think of it.

I am tempted to buy a pressure cooker just to do MF's rendang recipe. DH loves a good rendang.

You could slow cook it Yvette using MF's recipe.  :)

It's lovely slow cooked as well Yvette. I cook it on the stove with the lid off after I have pressure cooked it as rendang should just have a bit of sauce clinging to the meat as it is supposed to be a dry dish.
Will post as soon as my wifi is fixed as its too awkward to do from my phone. Guy coming next Thursday and then everything should be working as it should.
