Lovely snow photo's, but that's as close as I want to get to snow.
Use to love the snow when I was young, but after moving to warmer climates I now hate being cold.
I do remember it snowing one Christmas day in Hobart many many years ago, and it was summer.

Fozzie good to hear that your DH's back is improving, not long after DS3 was born, I suffered with squashed vertebrae  couldn't walk, couldn't sit, its was very hard on us all, I know how he must be feeling.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Thanks to all the NH's (Nthern Hemisphere) lovelies for sharing your present climate with us - beautiful photos but I am hopeless at functioning in such conditions.  We were in NY 2 yrs ago and were snowed in - needed to change flights etc!!! The sauna type conditions in Rocky yesterday after arriving back from Sydney were a bit difficult to capture through the camera lens and there was no beauty to be seen  :D  :D

Let's hope this weather improves soon. It's -22 C outside our window now. Apparently the "Bise Noire" is due to a high pressure system over Denmark, and a low pressure system in Greece. This doesn't happen too often, but when it does, this causes cold wind from Russia to blow towards the west.

Skiing today was pretty horrible, as was yesterday. I'm on vacation, so I might post some photos soon on my blog. I brought my TM along with us to ski, and I've been busy cooking. I've been so  busy with my experiments that I haven't had time to do much on the blog. But I have sold quite a few TM's in the last few months and had lots of fun in the process!

Thanks Judy. I felt I needed a change.

P.S. Here's a link to a blog on this ski area that I posted for friends, family and fellow travellers/skiers (written in 2008). We've been coming back here for the last 4 years, it's a fantastic ski area.
