I am buying a stand alone pc. The cuisinart 6 litre.

I have a deep fat fryer, which atm is sitting on ur coffee table, it was in the laundry bu dh moved it, he moves everything.
I have a slow cooker. I have my TM.

I dont see the need of a multi one.

What about you Uni

H, I bought the 5 in 1 and sold one slow cooker on ebay and gave the other away but i was wanting to cut down on appliances in my cupboards. With the WW cookbook was it the bigger one or the standard size one? I've been trying to get the bigger one and haven't been able to. Where did you get the books from?

The larger one, just under $40 from fishpond.com.au

I prefer to have separate appliances, just another one of my quirks. Plus I love my new slow cooker.

Looks like the home theatre room behind the lazy boys might be a god place ;D its ext to the kitchen.

Hally I have a normal 3 bedroom house and was running out of storage room so I bought one of those plastic wicker type trunks which people store their outdoor furniture cushions in.  In there I have all my glass jars and excess plasticware or anything I don't use very often - it freed up so much space in my cupboards. It just sits under the pergola, a few steps from the kitchen so much easier to access than keeping excess items in the garage. Here's what they look like, any hardware store have them and mine was only $99 on special.

Hally I've just seen this quote on another forum.  Have you pm'd MJ to ask her if she's had any problems?  Just a thought.

"One thing to be aware of with the electric models is that their high pressure isn't as high as stove top models - I know this is the case with the Cuisinart - and finding what the actual pressure settings on them is can be quite tricky. Lower pressure means longer cooking times, so you might have to adjust recipes slightly. "

JulieO, I have ordered it, will just have to play around with it. Yes Ishould have pm MJ, didnt think.

It had to be electric or nothing, so hoping it will be OK.

Hally very easy. It can saute and brown as well. I love it.

If you have a Robins Kitchen shop nearby, go in and have a look. I got mine for $120 on sale.
