I will interested in seeing the reviews.
Surely they've fixed the issues, and created their own recipe book this time.

I have read some reviews and it seems to be the same so far with a recipe book of only about 10 recipes. Same machine as the Maxi from Good Guys .  They are offering it to those who bought the first one at the same price of $299.  We will hear in a few weeks if it is improved .

If it has been improved it would be a good time for those who have the old one to get it replaced.

I saw an apology in the catalogue apologising for any confusion in regards to it being compared to the thermomix and that they had a new recipe book

My SIL bought one last time they were on sale.  She kept it in the box and then waited to read what everyone's reviews were.  Because most of them came back bad, she put it on ebay and made $80 from it!  Someone else obviously wanted one really badly!

Just caught up with this very long thread.  It's so interesting to see a competitor in this very specific niche market (but sad to see that the Bellini is such a blatent copy).  I absolutely adore my Thermie and realise it is worth every penny I paid for it, but I admit that I really struggled with the price tag initially.   I saw this post from a Bellini-related blog, and it really reinforced to me that the TMX price tag just may have been worth it:

I do wonder though, how much more profit TMX could make if they lowered the price and enjoyed a massive increase in sales?

Grace wont reduced the price of a TMX, as she is the only one distributor in Australia.

Otherwise you would buy one from overseas, and get it shipped here.

more competition  the better for consumers.. :)
