How can they do it - who knows but usually if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.  If someone is importing them and can sell at that price, it makes you wonder how much of a mark up HO puts on them doesn't it?  If you could turn up at that address to buy & pay but of course you can't, it has to be ordered over the internet and then you can pick it up if you are in that area. I doubt if the 2 year warranty would be valid here if these have been imported from Malaysia or elsewhere but they are selling and they may sell heaps more at that price as it is quite affordable for anyone really.

No idea - there is some mention of purchasing a voucher. I guess you then take the voucher to the pick-up point. There were some questions regarding what to do if a business has closed down by the time you pick up which indicates that pick up may be directly from the manufacturer, etc. Like JD said "if it looks too good to be true it probably is". I would be doing a lot more research before buying.

Well it sounds good, and you can pick up from store. I would want to investigate further before committing though.
I wonder if it is compatible with Australian power?

It looks like the real thing, a lot of these deal places have massive amazing discounts.

I'd love to know the Aussie distributor's take on it.

And although I know there is always a huge markup, I'd be pretty miffed if they started showing up on the market for that price..

I've forwarded this link to a few friends who are interested in getting a TMX but are baulking at the price. I suggested they do some research into the distributor first - let's see what they come up with!

It is an Australian website so it may be o...k....Call up your bank to check if you paid by credit card, and that if the deal turned out to be not as promised, where do you stand in getting a refund in this scenario.

Some friends have purchased this and used Paypal as a back up. To be honest it does sound too good to be true but if it is legit I'm miffed too. Could have saved myself a lot of $$$. Consultants worst nightmare is this happening I should imagine.

I have tried to find some info on this company. A google seach did not turn up anything. At the bottom of their home page is the following:

STARTDEALS PTY. LTD ABN 68 151 183 309 :: Unit 4-6 Junction st, Silverwater NSW 2144 :: (ph) 02 8821 6100

I have looked up their ABN on the ATO ABN lookup site and the company was registered in may 2011 with the abn register in nov 2011.  Here is a link to their ACN information :

http://www.search.asic.gov.au/cgi-bin/gns030c?juris=9&hdtext=ACN&srchsrc=1&acn=151183309

It does sound to good to be true.

Warning against online purchases of TM's and TM related products.

I would be very nervous about buying something for $700 without a warranty to protect me from faults and breakdowns.

I didn't see a date for when the product is available for collection, just the 12 working days to prepare for delivery   ??? Also no mention of type of power plug. Hopefully those who purchased did a comprehensive check.
