Up date on job application. I'm still bloody waiting
I was supposed to find out this week, but as I hadnt heard anything I assumed I didn't get it. I decided to give them a ring (cause I am so impatient)
I was told that no one has found out as yet as they are finalizing everything. So I got to keep waiting, waiting, waiting.
Maybe they are just trying to tell me that I didn't get the job and I just have to wait in hope (they just allowing time for Australia post to hand me my unsuccessful letter)
I'm loosing confidents

I'm trying Judy.
I think my biggest problem is I know I have the qualifications and experience for the job. And I think I have a nice personality and manner.
So I have been beating myself up trying to work out why I wouldn't get the job. Maybe I didn't do so well in the interview, maybe it's because my first aid certificate needs renewing, maybe because I don't have a manual handling certificate. Maybe it's because I can only work weekends, or maybe they just didn't like me. Or a bit of everything.
Be patient Mandi

Mandi,
As a previous manager and HR consultant, sometimes things get more complicated than expected. I know once I kept applicants waiting for 2 weeks, as we couldn't decide between 2. We did some budgeting and hired 2 people instead of 1. Or the was another case where we felt one applicant was VERY suited to another position in the organisation and wanted to find out whether it was possible for the other area to take them on.
Keep your fingers crossed.
