i will be still be making the rice flour too jd, just wanted to see the texture of the bought one

Goulash Soup served with Tiger Bread. Delicious! "to die for" said DH, and now there is only about 3 inches of bread left!!! I put in 35g of rice flour for the paste, and it still wasn't like in the picture but it worked out fine. I used the Cobb Loaf recipe. Thanks uni  :-*

Fabulous CP, you can just keep cutting into a loaf of freshly baked bread - who can possibly live without bread carbs  :-))

measured out the rice first, and ground it before I made the bread. I also slashed a few stripes, cos I wasn't sure how much it was going to crack but even that surprised me whilst it was cooking. I would slash again tho. Yep, looks like this will be a regular loaf.

Looks fantastic fundj.  Did you do anything different?  Mine had a big crack down the top which I don"t know why.  Didn"t detract from the eating pleasure though.  ;D

yes i did julie i used store bought rice flour

2 tbl warm water
1/2 tsp dried fast action yeast
1/2 tsp caster sugar
1 tbl vegetable oil
3 tbl rice flour

rest for 1/2 hour or until doubled in size
