Hi from Esperance WA
« on: May 12, 2012, 12:07:06 am »
Hi all, I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of my TM. Hopefully this will be posted on the 'Introduce yourself' thread!! I am not very good at navigating anything new first up. I live in Esperance and am involved in the commercial fishing industry. I love fishing and gardening and making preserves. I take excess produce to the Esperance growers market and I am hoping my TM will be of great assistance with chopping ingredients etc which I do by hand. Cheers all and thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the forum mistyseas, I'm sure the TM will become a big help in you kitchen. Just be careful chopping up ingredients as there is only seconds between chopped and purée ;D

Hi Mistyseas, welcome to the forum with your first posting (in the right place so you did fine).  If you have any troubles finding anything on here, just ask and someone will give you a link to it.  It's easy when you know how but I can imagine it would be quite daunting for a newcomer.

What a beautiful part of the country you live in. Mistyseas is a good name. You are going to love your Thermomix. good advice from dede. With chopping it is just a second ot two. You might want to use the pulse button at first. Lots of help here if you need it.

Welcome to the forum mistyseas.  I am just getting into preserves myself so as you get familiar with your TMX I would love to hear of your preserving success!

How exciting. Maybe custard, or if you have the ingredients for the vegetable stock concentrate.
You will be bust experimenting :)

If it is tomorrow night, it might be too late for her to cook tea for you - a risotto would be nice.
