I believe atlas machines are top of the wazza. I personally have a bacarrat model that's 10 yrs old now. I have used the atlas ones too and I have to admit, they are just that bit 'smoother' to use than mine. Not sure it's worth the price difference though.

I had a massive curry cook up on Wednesday night for a staff lunch on Thursday. I made, chicken Korma, rogan josh, potato aloo, Tarka Dahl and a veggie curry. I managed to bang all bar the vege curry out in about 3hours.
Everyone at school was super impressed and were so impressed it was all done in the thermomix!
I'll whip something up on Sunday. Probably something seafoodie. I've got crayfish, crabs, fish and prawns in the freezer. Yum!
Have a fab break all! School holidays for me! I survived my first term as a new principal. Now to stop and breathe a little.

Oh you're having some weird but wonderful weather! Hardly any wind! I love Kalbarri but I love living in Geradlton. Best of both worlds. Shops that make life easier but still have access to beautiful beaches, fishing and camping. Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Apparently there is a recipe in the bag I have for sale in our school shop. I'll have a squiz and see what it says.

I've been using this recipe for the last 6 months and I LOVE it! Even on seriously hot days (and we get some doozy's here in the mid west of wa) I am sweaty and have an odour, but nothing offensive.
Doesn't need any essential oil and I find if it solidifies, I just push my finger down to the bottom and then kind of loosen one bit to mix up again, if that makes sense? Tis a winner in my eyes.

Mmm Limoncello. Yum!
My hubby gives a decent work out but not to its full potential. I know he's still learning how to use it, but it is frustrating a little bit when I see him do something that the TMX could have done in a shorter period of time. Oh well...
Now reports are finished with, I might have a bit more time to play in the evenings!
Back to the drawing board with my meal plans.

No, my TMX is not sick or being fixed. It's sitting in my kitchen and I do not have time to use it right now. My husband is still using it every day for basic bits and bobs but nothing like what I want to use it for!
Sigh... One down side to working full time... I cannot wait till the school holidays so I can play again!!!
What is on your cooking list for this festive season? Mine is as follows so far:
-Biscuits-Almond bickies mainly -fruit mince pies
So what are you plans?

What's wrong with the price? I think $10 is reasonable. Considering postage or even getting in the car to pick the book up from a consultant, $10 is cheap!

Another one who uses it on average twice a day. And that doesn't include whatever my husband uses it for as he's the SAHD. On weekends it gets hammered at least 4 times a day if not more. The other weekend, it literally was going non-stop while I cooked up a load of tomato and bbq ketchup for the pantry and friends.

This was SO easy to make! Made some last night and made them too big, but that's ok. Next time I'm going to make smaller ones perhaps a heaped teaspoon size. Tis my bday today so hubby used them as my cake. He filled them with custard and topped them with nutella. I like!!!

Qlders are very energy efficient and won't say a full word if they can abbreviate it. I dunno. I ask a Banana Bender friend if they had retic and they had NO idea what the hell I was talking about! Once I described that it was the sprinklers that pop up, ie, reticulation, they then worked out that I meant Automatic sprinkler system. Ha ha. I think retic is easier to say.

Doesn't sound very balanced or liveable for the longer term to me. I try to look at my plate and have half vegetables, 1/4 protein and 1/4 carbohydrates. That sort of balance of it all keeps me honest and maintaining my weight. Snacks are more what people cheat on. I know that I certainly cheat with snacks. Lovely things creep in and become mainstays which shouldn't be the way. As soon as I make sure they are controlled again, the rest kind of happens.
Look at your whole life and make small positive changes. Increase your movement and decrease what you eat. Increase fibre rich foods and decrease the rubbish.
Good luck.
