Failsafe (diet) recipes generally dont have much colour and are milder in flavour as you are avoiding salicylates. If you arent FAILSAFE then you could add whatever takes your fancy.

I made this this week as well and it is very Yummy (I did add the egg too). Yes there is a mistake in not mentioning when to add the saffron and also it mentions adding the chick peas at two different stages, I asssume that one of those maybe should have been the saffron.

I dont go on the MC forum but I did just have a browse now and also took a quick look at the forum rules. I think that realistically most people dont read the rules first before they join in on a forum or they just give them the cursory once over and then forget most of it but it does say in their rules "No links to external sites." so that would be the reason for the links being removed and you getting a slap on the wrist.

I had to laugh tonight. My 8 year old was watching Masterchef and was all excited calling me in to the lounge "Mummy they have a Thermomix in the restaurant, I saw a thermomix!". It was in Georges restaurant The Press Club.

Oh wow Meagan how great would it be to have a community garden right over the road, so easy to maintain your plot, almost like its in your own garden.

We have: tomatoes rainbow chard spinach squash zucchini watermelon strawberries basil thyme capsicum chilli spring onion chives broccoli celery (gone to seed) Parsley (gone to seed) Onion double graft apricot double graft orange / mandarin dwarf peach dwarf nectarine blueberry raspberry midyim berries (eagerly awaiting for my first crop of berries to ripen) and an old old olive tree (the house is about 80 years old so I figure that the tree is a little younger than that) but we dont like olives so they just make a mess of the paving
Some of the garden is a bit sun ravaged at the moment and I have let some things go to seed, it'll be time for a tidy up and some planting shortly.

can't do any of the nut recipes for school either! We cant do nuts or eggs! One of the girls in DS's class is anaphalactic to both. Theres also one allergic to dairy but we only have to avoid that for shared food. No eggs can be a bit limiting we manage but it rules out the simple things like pancakes, biscuits containing egg etc.
