i did leave it in there and it made it nice and syrupy! I think i will do that next time meganjane. I wizzed it a bit at the end and it helped to incorporate it. So next time i will try to mix it in a bit at the start. Thanks for the help girls!

Thanks for the tips girls, I thought it would be ok for the steaming but was unsure if it was ok for the syrup in the bowl. In the end it burnt slightly because of the leftover dough in there. Unsure if there is anything I can do to prevent this. They were still delicious and the best I have ever made! Definately one I will cook again!

Sorbet was amazing as always! My friend was very impressed with the raw sugar into icing sugar. Hence why i made that first. I think i put too much white wine vinegar in the dip but i add some more stuff and it was still good. Salad was great but had trouble with the couscous because i didnt read the recipe properly but it all came together nicely! Its all about learning any way so im have lots of fun.

Thanks Judy. I do love a risotto but hate having to stir it constantly! Will definately be cooking lots of risottos in my TMX. Thanks

Veg stock sounds like a great idea, think i will be studying the cookbook and diving into lots of recipes. I think i might need to invite some friends around since my husband will be away (extra uninterupted cooking time) and i will have all this food after playing with my TMX.

Hello everyone, My name is Amber and i have just purchased a Thermomix, hopefully will receive before the weekend.
Just thought i would introduce myself. I have been thinking over the last couple of days what my first recipe should be. Would love to hear what are your favorite easy recipes that i should try first?
Look forward to hearing from all of you, aswell as hopefully contributing to the forum as i learn.
Thanks
xx
