We went into Denham this morning. $60 to top up the fuel tanks for going home, and $13.45 for milk and tomatoes.
Next week I will be into cooking again so the food bill will go up. The last  weeks being so low make up for the giant ones before we came up. It all balances out.

Yes it does all balance out.

I have done my menu plan for the week, aussie farmers ordered, so I should be in my $135 budget this week.

DH just did our weeks shopping, told him to stick to thelist - and he did (just got twice as much of each thing as I would have!!)  :-))  Even so, a grand total of $113.  :D  I'm happy with that!  :)

I've kind of blown it this week at $180 (budget $150).
BUT, it's actually been 12 days between shops, and I'm stocking up on some meat fro the freezer, so not too bad.
And best part is, we are away for a few days, and it's going to arrive the evening we get back, so I'll have fresh bread, etc for the next day  ;D  Not sure what we'll eat the night we arrive home, but will worry about that then...probably homemade pizzas or similar.

Oh I need to do this! We have a family of 3 - 2 adults (one heavily pregnant) and a 2 year old with a big appetite. We are currently spending somewhere around $150 a week, some weeks a little bit less (that includes our lunches too).

That doesn't sound too bad to me. We are 3 adults and I spend around $200 a week. That includes meat and fruit and vegetables.

I think you are doing extremely well at $150.

Ths week I bought 9 kgs of chicken breast & a whole lamb, needed for Tandor :)

$134.35 this week, yes in budget.

Next weeks budget is back to $100, I will probably be over as I have an n line order coming sunday with lr in mind. You never know though :)

Another $0 week here as I am now working my way through ready cooked meals in the freezer seeing it's just me here instead of cooking and adding more to it.  May's average was $56.96 pw, April was $15.20 pw.  Can't wait to clear all these meals out and start again.  Still plenty of meat in there to work with once I get past all the bits and pieces.

Too embarrassed to come on last week as I spent nearly $400 on groceries.   Lots. Of things on special.!! Won't have to buy tea for a year.   This week $114 so much better. Need a no spend week,  or two.
