I have a feeling in my bones the WET won't be so wet this year. Doesn't start until Nov If  at all

The termites have found a track in the mortar, raced up to the roof area, found some good timber  in the door frames and skirting boards.
Killing them at the moment and then having to replace stuff. After that putting at barrier around the house  at a bargain price of over $5000. Loving it NOT!

House only 12 years old . Termimesh installed. Nasty critters.

I am frightened to be in Sorrell near Hobart soon. Will it be freezing?

Life goes on

Commiserations Gert, thank goodness we don't have termites.
Dh has decided to give the cow the grapes as when I found them yesterday they were a little past their best to say the least!
Thanks JD maybe next year. It's a wonder I found them at all!

We now have 2 boarded up windows in the kitchen. They only brought two not four! And the fitters have decided to work at the weekend so it will be hectic with the plasterer too.

'morning Uni and CC.  Hope you are both well - passing through Sydney airport late this afternoon, Uni, so probably won't notice the heat.

Sleep well Denise.

Evening all.
Supper at the pub has cheered us all hugely. :D

The rise in your temperatures has coincided with a dramatic fall in ours.... >:(

DH took down the plasterboard in an ensuite and I have no idea why.... He then hired an industrial vacuum cleaner...... And will now be away for 3 out of the next 5 days..... LOL.... So it will clearly be me and the vacuum!

We now have three boarded up new windows and truly look like something from a war zone, or a house in bad trouble. Gonna have to miss dog class on Saturday as too many men will be working here, and everyone else is away. We have six men working everyday at the moment. Keeping the cuppas supplied now takes ages. Over 30 cups today. Have asked to swop days for dog training but am not able to.

That's a lot of workers to have there at the same time DJ, hope they are nice eye candy for you at least.

DH only trying to make life easier for you by hiring the industrial cleaner - as long as it isn't too heavy for you to manage  ;D
