You were desperate to empty those bins Karen  :D.  In the suburbs if the driver suspected that's what you did, he would have driven straight past you but who can resist a couple of hills folk in their pj's (surely as you wouldn't have had time to get dressed) trying to have their bins emptied.

Too funny Karen what a sight you must have been. Our bins are emptied Wednesdays, but this week it's not till Saturday and everything is overflowing. Hope we don't forget to put them out as DH doesn't wear Pjs 😁

You don't exactly have a flat driveway either Karen.  ;D

I certainly was desperate to empty the bins!  They were absolutely chock-full, and already rather smelly.

I did consider wheeling the bins behind me and running over to the next street in time to catch the truck on the way back, but our street is a hilly and bumpy dirt road, and it is rather a long way to where I had to go, and the bins were heavy.  So into the back of the car they went…..  I was pretty worried about the lids opening in transit and all the rubbish spilling out into the car  :o :o

I think the bin man was really amused to see us standing there by the road, in the PJ's, with the car, obviously having driven the bins over to him.  Thankfully he took pity on me…
