Oh! Gert, you sure have been through the mill.  Telstra is terriable to deal with but fingers crossed it's all behind you and things get better from here.

Gert, Telstra are terrible to deal with. Hopefully you won't have to deal with them again.  Our account is also in DH's name, if I am left I think I will just leave as is and just keep paying it as I have done for the last 46 years.

The day after Mum died I rang Telstra to cancel her phone. The twit on the end kept insisting on speaking with her. I kept saying she had died. He couldn't get it through his brain. Then DH took the phone and using language I don't use told the silly man in no uncertain terms what had happened and what we wanted done. He understood that.

Sadly we need to stay with Telstra as many places we travel they are the only mobile phones that will work.

Lucky I am with the business center for Telstra, and they are great, calls are  picked up so fast. We need telstra where we live, as others have no service.

going to get our kids swapped back today, ready for school 2morrow.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Good morning everyone, it looks like a nice, sunny Sunday here after a few wet days.

We received a cheque from Telstra for $15, six months after my dad passed away, something to do with disconnecting the phone.  I didn't ask why they took so long to find out the phone had been disconnected. :-))
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It's been here on and off all day Trudy, only a few drops of rain at one stage.  It's lovely when the sun comes out although getting much cooler at this time of the day of course.

Afternoon/evening friends.
Morning all.
Another cool start here.Very quiet walking this morning.I saw only one other dog walker.
The blossom on the trees is spectacular at the moment, especially the Hawthorn.

It's been a lovely warm day here, I spent some time sitting on our yacht watching DH work, I did make lunch for everyone first, bit of a working bee to get the deck ready for the final coat of paint.
We are with Telstra too, it's such a pain when I have to ring them, but when we are out on the coast sailing it's the best reception. Have you thought about a sat phone cookie, for when you are out in the sticks? DH has been talking about getting on for when we/ he goes cruising.
Back to work tomorrow at least I'm only working 4  days a week this term.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

We have Jeninwa. I think they are quite expensive though. We do have a RFDS radio for when we are really outback.
