Well done getting your health in check Cookie.  I do think sugar is the evil one but I can't help consuming if!

Hi friends.
Lovely photos Judy.Your Mum looks so well for her age.Geoff looks well too.

Another cold day here. Not so bad as yesterday but still frosty. It was hard going walking on the frozen ground this morning.Chance had no problem,he was just his normal self chasing anything that caught his eye.

Good morning everyone.  It's overcast here at the moment but should clear to 23 deg.

Judy the photos of your Mum and Geoff are lovely.  They both look very happy.

Chookie that is extremely kind of you, but we understand that you are extremely busy, especially with Christmas round the corner.
I need to get myself into gear and post my Grissini recipe.

Thanks for your lovely comments girls, I read them and comments from FB to Mum today and she was quite tickled.

That's a thoughtful task you've set yourself Chookie.  I'd be happy to even make 1 current TMX recipe a week these days although at the moment I am making lots of things for the nursing home trading table from our forum.

Hi friends.
A bit warmer here today. Chance and I had a good walk this morning. We met Todd and his owner halfway around our route. As usual Chance spent the morning sleeping after rushing around like a lunatic  ;D

Morning all.
Bit early today.
We are off to Daylesford to see GD play the Bag Pipes as part of the Annual Highland gathering. Her school group is competing in 4 events.
Looks like 14+ for Xmas lunch. DD will do salads, I will do ham and turkey , garlic bread and Xmas pudding and DIL , other Pud for those who don't like Xmas Pud.
DIL had her TMX serviced. Very happy with service and price.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
CC, Chance might have a sleep but at least you get to enjoy a nice cup of tea.

Good morning everyone, a warm weekend here.  Family visiting Mum for her birthday and tomorrow I'm going out with them and SIL's family for his birthday. Thankfully all birthdays will be over then.

A nice big gathering for Christmas Chookie, first one in your new house which will be lovely.  I wonder if we are in for a very hot Christmas this year, the heat has been very slow arriving this year.

Judy, both DD and DIL offered to do Xmas. We have more space   Both inside and out, so the kids can run wild if the wish. I usually do the traditional hot lunch, but not this year with only one small oven. Hope it is warm.

We may be 2 for Christmas lunch depending on a few things. DD has to work either Christmas Day or Boxing Day, not sure which yet and MIL may not be able to walk enough to bring her up. DH is going to try and persuade her to sit in a wheelchair and we can push and pull her around.
I don't mind if it's the 2 of us. I'll still do the same food just less. DH is a Christmas Grinch so I love to go overboard to stir him.
My brother will be around some time Boxing Day.

Chookie I'm pleased family are giving a helping hand. It can be a lot to do, but it is usually fun to do it.
