So I got up this morning, threw some flour , water and yeast into the EVIL 5 and it is happily kneading dough . I am growing to really think this machine is my enemy. Not a nice relationship at all. I will never recommend this machine to anyone  else ever. No more demos, no more cooking classes. It is no longer a friend to be cared for and nurtured. Friends have your back the TM5 does not.

Bloody annoying.  Let's you down at your time of need, I assume your dinner guest has left.  I must confess I use TM31 first and then TM5 if 31 is busy.  I am scared that it's not being tested out enough while under warranty.

Gert that is such a bugger. How very annoying. They seem prone to this c160 problem.

I must agree re Richie Benaud. Everyone that was interested in cricket would know his voice. I remember when he, Neil Harvey and Bill Lawry were playing.

Bummer Gert. Maybe post online asking if anyone wants to swap their old one for a new one?

Oh Gert what a disappointment!
I am so glad I didn't upgrade to the TM5!
Thanks Gert for confirming my decision.

Thanks Gert for confirming my decision.

I am more than annoyed. My consultant is picking it up and sending it back to Perth. It will take forever to get it back to Cairns no doubt.

She says the same thing happen with the TMX31 which is the crap Vorwerk is spouting now. Absolute garbage but even if it was so Vorwerk should have made sure it did not happen again. It does them no credit to continually spin the whole disaster. I am looking forward to the Canadian Launch and later the US launch if they dare.

I think chefs will be giving this one a pass as it is just not efficient. Everything takes longer with the lid locking.

And by the way there are many anomalies between the chip and the recipe book. Just one instance is that the chip does not say insert the butterfly when needed in the Lemon Butter recipe in the Basic Cookbook.  There are many more errors that needed only a good editor to double check.

I made the yogurt from the chip just to see if it was the same as the recipe I used with the TMX 31 and it was liquid after doing it EXACTLY right in the new book. Left that machine on for 8 long hours . I feel a fool for trusting it. It was an easy fix for the yogurt but it made me disgusted that once again the recipes are not truly tested before releasing them into the wild.

Just when I get my cooking MOJO back the machine let me down.

I love my new pasta maker.

Gert could you ask them to replace your TM5 with the TM31 rather than repair it.
I don't know, just a thought.
Glad you have your Mojo back it is not an easy time for you.

They are no longer making the 31. It is a mistake I will have to live with.

Gert not good enough from HO.
yes there are mistakes with the chip, so I don't use it very much.
you should be able to swap it under warranty.

I'm convinced that I don't want to get rid of my 31; hope it lasts forever........like me.
