I really felt for the people of NZ when I heard about this earthquake. They have had to cope with so much. Astarra and Mich I'm glad family members are ok. Such friendly people and a beautiful country.

A very damp day here this morning.Chance retrieved a cock pheasant when on our walk.Luckily the bird flew off once I took it out of Chance's mouth.The birds have been released for the shooting season.Usually I'm more vigilant but Chance shot off out of sight and came back with this one.

Thanks CC, she eventually got away.  She has been tossing up whether to return to NZ to live permanently to live or settle back down in Australia - I wonder if these earthquakes will help her make a decision.  From what I can gather all our family and friends are fine too, but "rattled" by the whole thing.

Our Agent for selling Cherokee has retaken the photos for the house. The Spring sunshine and garden certainly brightens things up.
No needle in eye necessary this time. Possibly next time.
