We had a strong easterly wind last night, bringing in all the grass pollen and dust from the farming areas! 33* forecast for today, not too bad. I really feel for all those suffering with the heat, it really zaps your energy.

The heat and humidity have  been awful and many people have been without electricity.  Our local Coles lost power and have had to throw out all their frozen food as it melted.
We had a cool change go through at 7 pm. Lovely. I have opened every window that has a screen.

Surely not Chookie. Hopefully they would have distributed the food to appropriate places. That is criminal if they did not.

Very hot last night in the 30 s at 11.30 pm. Woke to a cool wind , turned out it was very warm and in 30s again . This evening it changed and now the house , we had every window open possible , is a lot cooler . Kids preparing for school , books almost done , DD almost packed for boarding . DS tided his room and working on his desk . Seems the term has started for me as I have a Yoga class, yay . DD and  DS are helping in the shearing shed .

Showers here today.
You are certainly having a torrid time with heat girls. It must be difficult to sleep in those high temperatures.

Morning all.
Yes Gert, a terrible waste.  Must be some law  preventing them from donating the food.
Like Katie, we opened up the house to benefit from the cool change.  Yesterday, I was delighted to see kids helping mums and grannies selecting fresh fruit for the school lunches.
Was contacted by both hospitals yesterday. for feedback.  It was difficult to honestly report poor nursing  without sounding like a habitual complainer.

Good morning everyone.   Our cool change arrived mid evening.  I left the doors and windows open all night and now the house is lovely and cool.

Beautiful flowering gum Chookie.

Good morning everyone.  Gorgeous flowering gum Chookie, that should attract some colourful birds to your garden.
Now it’s cooler I can get a few jobs done around the house.

A wonderful photo of your flowering Gum Chookie.

Sunny here today but a tad cold. Walked Chance this morning and this afternoon. DH is taking advantage of the dry weather as he is busy rebuilding the Potting Shed that has rotted away on one side.

Good morning everyone, another nice cool day today.  Time to catch our breath from the last heat wave before it hots up again at the weekend - not as hot as the last heatwave though.
