Sometimes I wonder where all my time goes. The days seem to just disappear! A quick inventory of the fridge/freezer provides some clues. Home made goodies currently sitting in the fridge/freezer include black bread, milk bread, jam muffins, strawberry jam, tomato relish, tomato sauce, pickled cucumbers, oatmeal crunchies and the dregs of some vanilla ice-cream. There's also a couple of single serve leftover "meals". Tomorrow I'll add some mayo and some homemade hummus all going well. Time well spent I think  :)

Wow that's a lot of home cooking Djinni ,well done .
This weekend has been so busy , junior fire brigade practice for two hours on another hot Friday afternoon, followed by a auction of goods by local farm supplies shop - BBQue as well . Saturday was homework for DD and DS . Saturday afternoon was the farm to pub run / walk , DD decided to do it with a girlfriend at the last minute a 5 k walk run , but DH and DS did the 8.2 bike ride part( DS come in as the second bike rider, first child rider. It was great catching up with friends we came home and had pesto pasta . Today DD went and helped finish off fencing job with DH . More homework for DD , a drive to boarding house ,shopping and home . Cannot believe I fitted some reading time in all that .

Gayle and K Atie you both sound very busy.

We went out last night as the car club were having an evening of Hubley Racing. Hubleys are mini Model A cars. Quite heavy and some people get very involved. We have one but the lovely man who gave t to DH asked him not to race it. They all have to be weighed and it is timed down to 3 decimal places.
We had a lovely evening chatting and having a BBQ with friends.

As you can see ours doesn't have a bonnet.

Morning all.
CC, would they be Hawthorne hedges. ?   Love them. There were lots at Cherokee. We would tell the GC that the red berries were the birds lollies.
The hedging is mixed deciduous shrubs dotted with the hawthorn Chookie.

There was a hard frost overnight. They are forecasting snow this coming week. Not sure if it's coming our way but we usually do here on the Chilterns.  :-))

Cooler day so looking forward to cleaning out Chook house and putting the litter on the garden.

Busy weekend, lots of cooking, mowing the lawns, lots of thunder storms over the weekend.
Going away next week to relax, so kids will have a week of school. ;)

I love hearing what you guys get up to, lots of interesting things! Love the model too cookie. I’ve been busy laminating and checking out my bread recipe collection, another section done and dusted. In the middle of it I just had to bake a loaf of bread LOL.

That's my trouble when I go recipe sorting too Judy. I have recipes printed, in scrapbooks, in files, on Snap. If the forum ever stops I am in big trouble.

When I do a sorting out, I often find several print offs of the same recipe.

Good morning everyone.  I sorted the biscuit section last night, threw out 3 recipes only because they were so similar to others. 3 sections down, plenty to go. A hot 35 today.
