The lying to consultants about the imminence of the TMX5 really pissed me off. It was so blatant. I was vilified by many for mooting such a thing but I said I did not give a fig or other. I spread it far and wide and still the denial by so many consultants . It really saddened me that they were brainwashed by their leaders and on up. Stung they were when it actually happened. Many many left totally disappointed and out of pocket. DisGRACEful. I cannot tolerate dishonesty nor should anyone.

I agree with you Cookie. Not enough. Not nearly enough.

Having said that, I do admire Grace for preserving on bringing the Thermomix to Australia. That was  hard work and I am sure she was inspired but greed took over and her care of her customers and staff took a back seat.

I am still very confused about this whole issue of the safety of the 31 machine.  New machines are being offered to customers who bought machines during the disregarding of safety issues and complaints period, but does this mean that the other 31 s are safe?
I have given 31 s to family members and am worried that these may not be safe.  Both machines were bought in 2009.

Your machines are fine. The machines affected were those sold in a three month period July to September in 2014 only. I think Grace should also give new TM31 to those who were told there was no new matching coming out just before the new machine was released. She lied to her consultants and they in turn lied to the customers. The leaders were well aware and those who were interested and did their research were the lucky ones. Thousands  of people around the world knew the TM5 was designed and was in the production stage in France. Not one person who vilified me ever said sorry you were right.

Thanks Gert.   I was fortunate in that my Consultant guessed what was happening and told me.  I was able to warn some people who where about to buy, to hold off.

Morning all.
Ral had a lot of help from the people at the coffee machine shop.
Cooler but sunny today.  No rain.

Good morning everyone.  Nice and sunny here.

The much awaited rain is due this afternoon, fingers crossed it comes down our way.
Good morning everyone.
Is Ral happier with his frothing technique now Chookie?

Yes, getting there. This machine is very hands on, like the ones in the coffee shops.

I still use my 31 everyday as well as the 5.  I use the 31 mainly for cooking and the 5 for making bread etc. the time of the locking arms drives me crazy too. I always seem to be waiting on them.
I think the 5 has made a lot of people think they can cook with the Thermomix, when all they are really doing is following a chip or similar. When it comes to doing something alone they have no idea. You can see this from some of the comments on Tenina’s Facebook and other sites.

DD prefers to use the 31.

Totally agree Cookie. No idea whatsoever and no desire to think for themselves. We are the lucky ones. I hate my TM5. I hate the arm wait.

An item in the Melbourne Age by Choice.  They do not see a change of culture , in spite of the mealy mouthed apology and the fine, in the management of TMX Australia. Worth a read.
