We have had a week of excessively humid weather. It really saps your energy. Today is better.

Our weather is perfect here, beautiful days and cool nights.
An Easter op for Ral, I guess if he’d had it this week he may have still been in hospital over Easter anyway Chookie.

Good luck to Ral with his operation, we will be thinking of him; it's the same day as DH's hand op, although his is a day procedure.

I've never had medlars so I was surprised I recognised them (at least I am guessing that they are medlars!), and your crab apples look great. They make a very pretty display.

Yes , the brown ones are Medlars. I was told that all modern apples are developed from them.  The red ones are a form of hawthorn. I thought they were crab apples and was about to make jam from them. Fortunately I was told that they are full of cyanide before I made the jam.

That was handy to find out before you made the jam and poisoned all your neighbours and friends Chookie.

That would have been horrid. Who would have ever thought they had cyanide in.

Learn something every day , I thought they looked like crab apples too . Medlars are an acquired taste and if all modern apples were made from Medlars.
