Den how lucky can you get? That would have been amazing.
CC  our tiny freezer needs defrosting and I hate doing it. Our normal size one is an automatic defrost.

Went to visit my cousin in Viewbank ( I just went on the train and got off where she told me). Had the most magic time. We basically picked up from where we were last time a couple of years ago.
We got back to the hotel for bubbles and dinner.

Lucky you Den.
Cookie, enjoy Melbourne.  What a busy year you are having..
Gert, would have been lovely to have had Ted with you but glad you could celebrate with some bubbles.
I'm still a busy bee with my angel baby, he is just beautiful and has read the text book! Well a part from the sleep all night chapter!

Do you put a deep baking dish of boiling water on one of the shelves Denise?  I find that helps things along nicely.

Laundry and general housework here today.  We are having a party here for GD's 16th at the weekend.

Cleaned and sorted out the pantry yesterday.  Now I can find those things I knew I had but couldn't find. :D

This morning after quite a sleep in we went down to Alyce Alexandras. Her shop is quite lovely and I saw where we will be having our cooking class. I even got to meet and chat with Alyce. I bought quite a few Herbie's spices from her, including Beetroot powder and tomato powder for pasta.

From there we dropped the goodies off at the hotel, had lunch and went out to the zoo. We wanted to see a couple of new arrivals out there but the Lemurs captured our hearts.

Cookie, you are having a great time. When we go to Melbourne it is usually for medical appointments.
Had 2, one for Rals skin spots and one for my eyes. Both very good. No more injections in the eyes at the moment.

He's gorgeous cookie.  You certainly went mad with Herbie's spices, Alyce would have loved your visit.

Good news Chookie.

All this talk about sloe berries. I had to buy a bottle of sloe Gin. Haven't opened it yet.
