I love the photo CC. What do the security dogs do please? Do they work in the shopping centre? He looks a lovely dog.

Well I did it. I have sent my letter of resignation.
I got my old job back just like that. Will start in 3 weeks time with guaranteed hours :)
Looking forward to working for an organization who looks after me. :)

Good for you Mandi, I hope your old employer sits up and takes notice now that they cannot treat their employees the way they treated you.

I hope so too Judy. I'm really concerned about one of my clients being so short of workers but we have been asking for more workers for months for this particular client. I'm feeling guilty but know I need to look after myself.

Good on you Mandi, that is great news.  Hopefully you will get some time over Christmas to relax a bit and I am sure your new/old employer realizes your true value.

Mandi when staff is that short, if there is no-one to do the job at all we've had people in the office come here to do a shift.  She was a care worker who used to do home visits but ended up in the office. Hopefully that will happen there too.

They have no choice but to find someone as it's essential care. I can't see why they don't broker workers from another agency. I know other organizations do when they are short staffed.

Security dogs are a fact if life walking around London Cookie. This one probably is a sniffer dog for explosives.Very often if my DD drives into Canary Wharf the car will be stopped and the steering wheel swabbed for traces of bomb making materials. As Canary Wharf is the financial centre for England it's all about security.

Well done Mandi on your new job :-* :-*

Great news Mandi.
Busy day where everything went wrong today. Woke up to ants in kitchen, pantry and hallway. Spent best part of morning cleaning out pantry and removing ants. Thank god for Tupperware as it kept the food safe. Have very clean shelves now.  Did find 5 cans of evap milk when I I thought I only had one! Spilled a packet of penne in the utensil drawer later in the arvo. Have a neat and clean utensil drawer now too. Grocery shopping had to double back three times to get missed items and then still forgot fly spray, which I only needed because I emptied the last one in the pantry on those little critters.  KIS has arrived, so off to bed to read it and hopefully nothing else goes wrong ☺️
