Thanks for the update on the baby BZB.
You certainly have a calm head on your shoulders.

Well done BZB, one never knows until faced with such things how it will be. Glad everyone is ok.
I once coped with a MAJOR epileptic seizure on the farm. I had never seen anyone become so blue, stop breathing and live.
As soon as they were unconscious ( took well over 5 mins) I was able to manoeuvre them into a sort of recovery position (we were jammed in a small pen at the time with a ewe and lamb) and eventually they came around, after I'd finally got help and we'd broken down the pen to make more room. They had no memory of the events at all, and it is forever seared on my soul.
The thing that helped me best was researching it after and knowing I'd done everything right. It had got to the point where I'd thought the very very worst, all the time whilst shouting for help. Do I run for help or stay. I decided to stay whatever happened and it all turned out ok in the end.
First aid courses do help, that's for sure. I need to update my at work qualification, the paediatric one is still valid.

Wow, DJ! How many people suffered the seizure? They must be so so thankful to you.

BZB you are such a star. Well done. Sincere congratulations on staying calm, it is is important. The very few times I have been involved in a nasty situation I have been able to stay calm and then when it is all over I sit and cry.
You were wonderful.

Housework and cooking today. A friend has just arrived, had coffee and now he is doing the annual inspection on the old car. They must be inspected every year. A very good idea.
Yesterday we had a run in the old dear. Went to the polo. It was very hot and there was no shade at the polo. Home for a quick shower and off to a meeting. A very full day. I think I may need a Nanna nap later today.

I spent all yesterday trying to finish off a quilt and was really looking forward to a nanna nap but it didn't happen, worst luck, but at least the quilt is finished.

Yesterday I raced the Coogee Olympic Distance triathlon. Today I have been working from our Perth Office. It has been nice working with some of my colleagues for a changing.

I'd be happy with myself if I was just in such a race Den, you are too harsh on yourself.

Well done Den.
How scarey re the baby BZB.
Glad she is ok now. Just wondering why she (the mum) didn't call the Ambo?
You are a great neighbor to take her in.

well done den
astarra I was thinking the same thing
took the kids down to Hillarys this morning for breakfast cost me $85
could of made it myself for less than a quarter of the price plus the coffee was dreadful I think they needed to clean there coffee machine but the kids enjoyed it so I guess that's all that matters
