Thanks for the well wishes, poor Lily is just tiny and food is a battle at the best of times but when unwell her eating is non existent , so lazy parents are the bane of my existence. Plus we're off to Singapore in 2 weeks so everyone needs to be healthy!
It was beautiful in the swan valley after lunch took the kids to bell rapids such a gorgeous spot just as we were leaving it started to rain perfect timing and the kids want to go back in summer and have a picnic

Bell's Rapids is a very pretty spot. I remember one year we got covered in mud there as we were crew for a friend doing the Avon Descent. It is very hard work being crew as you have to drive miles to be at the next spot before they are to feed them.
It will be lovely up there in the warmer weather Suzanne.

I won tickets to see The last cab to Darwin on Saturday, followed by a Q&A session with Michael Caton and others, loved the movie, laughed and cried, it's a great Aussie film if you get the chance go and see it.
The week before I won tickets to see Far from the madding crowd. Another great movie, then I won a ticket to the good food and wine show this weekend. DH thinks I should buy a lotto ticket.

My kids are having so many sleep overs, and kids here this holidays. There social life is better than ours.
so, plenty of time for cooking today while home.

I almost had a massive disaster yesterday. I went to the fridge for something and noticed that my starter had been tipped over and most had come out. I managed to save a couple of tablespoons full and scraped up the rest. I fed the bits left last night and this morning and it is happy again. I then used some for bread.
Disaster avoided.

I was meant to be going out today and the outing was cancelled so I spent the day finishing off my quilt. This one has been in the cupboard for longer than I would like to admit. I have decided that this year is the year of finishing off for some of those items in the cupboard. We shall see if this happens.
