Even before the Model A goes out we are having some excitement here. Even TM 31 is getting in on the fun!!!
DD didn't wear her uniform shirt to work today, she wore her Eagles shirt. She didn't take another one so she will have to be sent home to change!  Tactics already.

Thanks for your kind words re the car donation money. We felt it was the least we could do.

Exciting news Cookie! I'm sure your old car will behave herself, and a lovely gesture donating hire money to PMH.

LOL cookie, I read your post before the photo was added and couldn't work out how the TMX was getting involved. It's clear now.

Sorry Judy. I write the post then add the photo with Tapatalk. I bought some blue and yellow flowers this morning, I will have to share a photo.

Not doing much today, we had youngest 2 GK's  from early morning till bedtime yesterday. DH and I were exhausted today. We walked this morning and not much else apart from a little shopping.

Very pretty flowers Cookie.

We finally got the work done from the storm damage in April, 3 weeks ago. The workmanship was fairly ordinary. Today the boss came out to review it. The tradie broke 2 pot plants in the process.
I think all is good. Boss offered to fix the poor workmanship and give us a $100 Bunning's card to replace the the pots and plants. He said he would drop it off this afternoon. It's 1830hrs and no sign of him. Not a big deal but I don't think business's care about service and quality anymore.

That's dreadful Mich. A dear friend was telling me today that some tenants they have in a unit have been threatening them. She said it's very frightening.

Katj I can understand how exhausted you both must have felt.

What fun Cookie having your beautiful car in a film; hope we get to see it. I always disliked having to double de-clutch in the old land rovers we had when we fist got married. Have an automatic car now thank goodness. Well done donating the money. We had a guest speaker from the PMHF come to our sewing guild a few weeks ago and they sure need the money.

Took 11yr old GD to Wireless Hill today and met up with her other Nanna and others. Had a good day but exhausted now.

Well after almost 4 months on the road, driving the support vehicle, I hardly know where to start at home.. So laundry today as it's still warm enough just to dry washing outdoors,  plus posted two painted postcards for the Hospice appeal, and sorted paperwork ready for a lot of admin next week.
Also booked tickets to see Rod Stewart in concert next summer as we have been to a few events which are on DH's bucket list.
We are about to have a run of visitors from Friday and I will have to get back into cooking mode, it may come as shock! I've also booked myself on a one day bread course in Gloucester, in January as it was a good price and I always learn something new as well as meeting new people. I wanted something to look forward to, and just hope we don't get lots of snow because of El Nino!

It must be great to be back home DJ and there would be plenty of jobs needing your attention after all that time away.  How has your garden survived?
