Keep up the good work Mab and Obbie, I'm the same as you chookie just can't find any motivation, I was doing so well before we went away in September, I think I left my motivation in noumena amongst the French pastries. I keep telling myself after xmas I'll get back on track.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Today I am making my final list of what salads I will be making over Christmas and making sure I have all ingredients on hand. I will shop for Fruit & Veg early Wednesday but have a list of odds & ends I need. I have GD for a sleepover Wednesday, I could have done without, but hey it's Christmas.

I am waiting for DH to get up so I can take him to the shops for some things he wants to buy. I am happy to do it while he is improving but he has to watch my parking because I am not good at that.

I had to go over to Garden City this morning. I managed top get a park very close, which was a fluke. I dropped Some SD starter in to Kezza. I have been promising to so for ages.

Have been out all day and have just picked about a kilo of raspberries. Will freeze them for jam.

I can't imagine kilo of raspberries Chookie. How lovely.

We had a couple of fires fairly near us today. One was a suburb away near where we used to live. The heli tankers had to fly over us back to base for fuel. I love looking at them. Then later this afternoon it seemed like one was on the roof and when I went to look there was a fire a couple of kms away. Watching the heli tanker and the water bombers was incredible. They are brilliant. I really take my hat off to them.

Yum fresh raspberries, I do miss then. A kilo over here would cost an arm and a leg. Enjoy them.

I bought 1 punnet of raspberries for $2.99 in Aldi today.
Another session in the garden today - nearly got the backyard up to scratch. Need to buy a couple of new pots and replant a few things that are in plastic pots. More success in the garden than the kitchen lately.

I'll be beginning my bits and pieces for some hampers for Christmas Day. Lots of gingerbread to make, plus jam, Rocky Road, fudge and Tenina's cacao nib shortbread. I need to find nice little hamper boxes or baskets.
