Lovely photo Cookie.

DH has decided to sell our old Nissan Patrol.  A young couple came to look at it this morning and agreed to buy it.  I'm sad to see it go as it has alway been reliable and has never let us down but we don't really need two cars. :(

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We sold our Nissan Patrol just over 12 months ago. That's when I bought my Red Terror. We've had 2 and both have been good cars.
I had a small sleep in this morning until 7.30am. We then had a coffee at the cafe near the park with everyone and then went down town. The town isn't up to full tourist time yet so was a little quiet. Visited some old haunts and will now spend the afternoon preparing for the next phase of the journey to Kununurra.

Glad to heard you are having a good time Cookie; we used to live a bit further to the left from where you are staying in the Park and the sand flies used to rush out of the mangroves every day and try and eat me alive. Keep safe and well.

Troupie we lived in Weld st next to the school. Not far away from that. We were in the school grounds and the sand flies used to do the same to us. Our dining room and kitchen only had fly wire walls and shutters.

DS and 3yo GS return to Melbourne today, it has been lovely having them stay for almost 5  days, but I am looking forward to getting the place back in order. DH has a bad cold as well, hopefully he will be alright for work tomorrow.
Have a great day everyone!

We drove from Broome to Fitzroy Crossing today. Tonight we are camped in Fitzroy with 3 extra Model As and their drivers. There has been a lot of rain here so there are heaps of mozzies. The Aerogard is getting a work out.
Tomorrow we go through Halls Creek and on to a bush camp. With 10 people in the group now there is a lot of banter. ( I thought it was only 8 but I forgot us!)

Love the gnarled tree cookie and it's great that you now have a group who will travel together and enjoy each other's company.

It's a Boab tree Judy. They are between Broome and Fitzroy pretty much. I will try and take a photo of one that hasn't got leaves on it. Some of them are hundreds of years old. The one I photographed would be several hundred years old.
They are beautiful.
