That looks great, Michelle.  I noticed the artichoke ... I am never quite sure how to tackle them, they always seem so complicated and time consuming.

This afternoon I went to a fashion parade of op shop clothing at the local fellowship group (of which I am not a member but several of my Probus friends were there).  Had a good laugh and the 'models' did a great job.

I love Op Shop fashion parades. We have them regularly at Salvo stores here in Newcastle. Just brilliant. Although I don't buy every time, it gives me new ideas for my wardrobe.

I went to my usual Tuesday exercise class then on to the hairdressers. Back home for a bowl of soup then to an afternoon here at our village. They had an open day for ladies wanting to learn how to bowl(lawn). It was a nice sunny afternoon so I thought I would go, it was a lot of fun. I already new the basics as DH and I had played social bowls at night about 8 years ago. It was followed by an afternoon tea/coffee with sandwiches and cakes.
My last day of being free for a few weeks, daughters surgery tomorrow, so it will be full on for the next few weeks.

I went to see DS today.I found him in the process of making Henry's Sourdough recipe.I helped him with some of the method as he still is finding it difficult with moving his hands.I'll help him tomorrow to finish the recipe.

CC, thanks for the link.  This recipe looks good although I can't see the need to fold it every 30 minutes. Proofing overnight and baking in a cast iron pot should do the trick with the texture and rising.
On the other hand, the folding is probably good for the stress levels.

We are spending the day in Ballarat doing lots of small jobs.

Your DS is to be admired for his perseverance Denise.
I hope all goes well for your DD tomorrow Katj.

I went to the physio this morning, on the way I picked up a piece of jewellery that DD had repaired. I just made it on time to the physio, there was roadworks everywhere. Every street I wanted to go down had repairs being done.

Just booked the last part of our holiday. We leave in just over a week and only just finalised the final bit.

We are traveling to London for a few days then on to Bournouth for 5 nights where I will run the Bournemouth marathon, after that we have 4 nights on a canal boat near Nottingham. Finally training over to PAris for 5 nights before heading home with a two night layover in Bangkok.

DW is very excited we are going to Chawton, Lyme Regis and Bath as day trips from Bournemouth. She is a Jane Ausitn tragic. I am not that excited about the trip at all, it just feels like more work.

DD have a wonderful Holiday. I'm afraid I agree with your wife. Good luck for the marathon.
Friends spent time on a canal boat last year and loved it.

Cookie I have read some Jane Ausitin and visiting Bath will be interesting. I am not looking forward to the trip in general, don;t know why I have always wanted to visit England and Europe.

DD, I know how you feel but you will enjoy it once you get there.
When we were in London some years ago, CC pointed us in the direction of the Wallace Collection. Free entry, guided tour and a lovely spot to have lunch. Lots of Vegetarian options.
Enjoy your running and Bath is certainly interesting.

Enjoy your holiday Den, they can be hard work for the person who makes all the arrangements.  The best holidays are those planned by someone else!
