Finished the garlic last night. Made 12 packets, put some whole bulbs aside for friends.

A good job out of the way Chookie.
I'm glad they found the reason for your problems astarra, I see DH is taking over the cooking whilst you're recovering from surgery.  More ahead so look after yourself after all the repair work.  It's hard not being able to do much for 6 weeks but they say the first repair op is the best things will be and if it needs to be done again, it will never be as good as that first one. Good luck with everything.

Good morning everyone, nice fool change today after yesterday's 41. Today 27, but a bit humid.
I have been busy so far today and it's not quite 9am. I told DH to take the car to work (he usually goes by PT). I've made yogurt, a loaf of bread in breadmaker.
Cleaned bathroom and done the washing.
Tomorrow is SIL's birthday and DD is having a simple picnic/bbq  at the local lake and playground, so I will make something to take.
Astarra, sorry to hear you are laid up after surgery. My DD had repair job done in Mid September after 3 bubs. All great now, but it did take a full 6 weeks of doing very little. Be kind to yourself and accept whatever help is offered to you. Take care!

I'm no where near as good as Katj. I'm up, had breakfast, done the dishes, got in the washing I put out late yesterday, had coffee with DH. As Katj said, it is quite humid.

That's pretty good Robyn with 2 kids. Did that include uniforms and shoes?

No, I need to buy shoes. I have bought Chantelle's uniforms, and Gordy will wear last years, as he has chantelles shirts too.

Education certainly isn't free.
DH has been working all day to put up a roller door in the back of our garage. It's a three car garage and he wants to be able to bring the Model A through without having to shift the caravan. The old van lived in the shed, but this one being an off road one is higher and won't fit.
He had a mate come over to help, so his wife came too and we had a lovely chat.

I have just had the NBN connected and what a nightmare that turned out to be.  No phone and no internet for two days.  I spent most of yesterday and a good part of this morning on the mobile trying to sort things out.  At last all is working as it should.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I'm not looking forward to the experience myself Margaret, it seems a lot of people have problems.

Same here Judy. I thought it was all easy and straight forward but from friends experiences it isn't.

Suzanne, lovely dishes for the littlies ,  I'll but they all had a good time.
Cookie, enjoy the company and heat as it only reached 8 here today. Also strong cold wind. Have been cooking all day.
Have made arrangements to send TMX with wonky scales to hospital. Must say they made it very easy.

Help, scales gone AWOL. do you know who to contact.

Monique, get in touch with your consultant. DIL and I both had very good experience with having our TMX fixed.

We've been on the NBN at our home for a year now and, to be honest, I don't notice it being any faster or an improvement on what we had beforehand.  We did have heaps of problems when we wanted our phone to go onto VoiP.  It would have been easier if we had mobile reception at our place, but unfortunately we had to drive 10 kms away to ring the provider, then, after being on hold for ages, we had to drive 10 kms back to try to fix it.  This went on for ages so it was a very bumpy experience, but we got there in the end.
