Good news on all fronts, Chookie.  Hugs to you both.

... it sounds like I should investigate Spotify (excuse the pun)!

DH and DD have gone to the Classic car show. He took the old Model A Ute and she took her 1966 Mustang.

Today, I have been baking. I’m feeling a lot more positive. Not sure if it is the wonderful support from fiends, including the Forum family, ( thank you) or the fact that Ral has started prep forChemo.  He is also is in a better frame of mind and looks a lot better.
DS visited from Melbourne and fixed my hearing aides. Last week he fixed he dishwasher that wasn’t emptying and set up my Google home so I could play my selection of  music on Spotify. I bought a cheap subscription to Netflix so I could watch some movies.

Chookie, My apologies for being so far behind here.  We were sorry to hear of Rals' medical problems and hope he responds well to his treatment.    Sending our hugs and best wishes  to you both.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It is Judy. She has made a few friends who are in the Mustang Shelby club as well as some in the Model A club.

So pleased your back in the kitchen Chookie . Maybe we could start up a Netflix suggestion . Weeded the neglected vegetable garden , DS turned the soil over added some vegetable compost to fill them up and had DS turn it over again . I did a bit of the soil work seems I might have pulled a tummy muscle but all good now . Pruned a rose and took out the some dead head of the agapanthus. Tomorrow I must get the bay leaves and put leaves all over the top soil so the kittens keep off it . Cleaned the filters on the two  split air con heaters . Gosh no wonder they were not working properly, seems I am very stupid as I took the filters outside and brushed them down should have worn a mask! Now hard to breath , but getting better as well . DH has to meet a grain truck very early every morning this week ! No sleep ins here.

We eat a group of car friends for coffee this morning. It’s always good fun.

Thanks for the lovely car photos Cookie.
Ral had first lot of Chemo yesterday. He may have a reaction  or not. No one knows. He is realistic about what he maybe able to do and not do. They are trying to get him moving and will start rehab in a few days. We hope he can come home but will need a lot of at home support.
I now have a gardener, an odd job man and his son and a house cleaner. I just love the 14 year old . I cook for them which I love.
Thanks again for all the good wishes and support from the Forum family.

Judy I just noticed that. I usually run my eye over the post before I post it. I must have missed that one. We met them as well as eating them!!!
Chookie chemo isn't the best fun in the world. Over here there is a group called 'chemo at home.' One of DD's friends started it. Maybe as Ral's chemo progresses he may be able to have that. It would depend if he was suitable or not. We are thinking of both of you over here. Take care.

I had my second cataract done today. It all went well. One of the nurses, who was lovely, said I had taught her pre 1980. She said she loved me then and I haven’t changed. I was so thrilled. It made my day.
