Family coming from Melb for a visit and lunch.  Its ’ feels Like -2 here ‘ at the moment.

We will probably do a few trips close to home to iron out any faults first. 😀😀😀😀😀
Today we had a restoration run with the old cars. That means you visit the homes/sheds of people restoring cars. We were supposed to do 2 today but this morning they advised they have Covid in the house. So we only visited one and stayed there all the time.

Today, Tai Chi, book club and lunch and GS and friends for Dinner. White frost last night. Beautiful sunny morning. 3 loads of washing before Tai Chi. Crazy!

I’m trying to physically read a book My Favourite Mistakes than listening to it … not working but now I may try harder. I’ve been reading Lynda La Plante’s latest book, Bella Mafia. It’s great. However I have to stop and read my Bookclub book.

Katie, have just finished ‘ A Spanner in the Works’ by Alice Anderson.  Highly recommended. Now reading ‘Educated’ by Tara Westover. Have read 1/3, not liking it at all.
Men coming to finish Garden Room. Cleaner also coming.

Yes I’m under cover cookie and it’s anyone’s guess as to how they’re going to play from week to week.

Cookie, Rain is wonderful when you don’t get much.
The men finished my Garden Room and it’s lovely. It has 4 see through mesh type blinds that are remote controlled. The blinds provide privacy and wind protection but can be seen through from the inside. There is also a sun blind over the top for hot days.
More jam today. It is citrus season. Will also make some Lemon Butter for GD who is coming at Weekend. All in TMX.

There is nothing like the sound of rain on the roof when you have gone through such a long dry spell. 

Many years ago, when we were in drought here, we had a French girl on work experience with us for a couple of months and when it started raining one night she and her housemates all came out and danced in the rain!

Marina when the kids were young , and there had been no rain for so long . We would go outside and do a rain dance . I’d forgotten about this until someone the other day jokingly said looks like we need to do a rain dance . Any rain would be good . Did shopping , so time consuming.
