Cookie, I’m sure all will be fixed. It’s like a new home, there are always problems. I’m also sure you will keep at them until it is right.

Thanks, Chookie.
WE went out with friends for coffee this morning and this afternoon I did the grocery shopping.

Life always comes to an end for some . My DMIL passed away last week. Quick and peaceful are two words to describe it. It was a bit of a shock . DH is ok but his DM has always been there . It’s always intense dealing with all the funeral arrangements and all the family getting together. DD has been very involved too . It’s hard . We are all exhausted, well we were before! Also we start windrowing the conola on Sunday . The season has turned and it dry so so dry . DS is up north driving a header contract harvesting. ( he will be done on the weekend) .

Condolences to the family K Atie.

You’re living the good life Chookie and I hope you get the thumbs up from your heart specialist.

Marina I love a good pedicure.

I’ve done new inventories for the 2 freezers, threw out a few items but the drawers are still very full. I must try and get them down before Christmas, easier said than done.

My condolences, K Atie.  It is always hard when a death comes unexpectedly.

Had a biopsy on a spot, about the size of a pin head, on one of my arms today.  I didn't even think it was a "spot of concern", but the dr took one look and booked me in for the biopsy immediately so I will wait to get the results next week.  To make the whole thing even more confusing, I wasn't at the doctors for that "spot of concern", just pure coincidence!  Weird how things happen.  The good thing is, though, that is my three bad medical things this year (actually, it is the fourth, but lets not go there) - I have decided to simply wipe 2024 off my calendar!

Condolences to you and your family K Atie.

DH brother also passed away last week.  He was a quadraplegic after a car accident about 30 years ago and has been bed ridden for the last 12 months or so.  He was slowly losing the battle so his passing was expected.

Katie, quick and peaceful is good, but still hard to deal with.
Mab, hard for your DH also. Condolences from me.
Bit worried about the Echo test. The technician was make funny noises while the test was going on.
Yesterday did get very good eye report and now have annual tests.

I’m sorry to read your sad news too Mab. Sincere sympathy to you both.

I hate it when technicians do that Chookie. They should be prepared to explain their ‘noises’ or be quiet. Great news re your eyes.

Condolences to you too Mab . Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Another part of the family arrived, we will be mostly together tonight . Today DH and I go to church! Like only ever a few people! We will triple the numbers!! Then I have to pick up DD from the train station! On a lighter note DD had her birthday yesterday and celebrated with friends. DS finished up harvesting and is part on his way ! A stop over with DHN .. they will travel by plane and car . And home tonight. Yesterday I came home to a very quiet house so sat down and instantly fell asleep! Poor DH has hardly done any work all organising said funeral . It’s all good we are getting there . I will be happy when all mine are home together to have a few moments of reflection and hugs .
