My Kindle is the one modern piece of equipment I couldn't do without .... well, perhaps I couldn't do without my TMX either (there may be one or two others that I quite like as well, but I can't think of what they are at the moment!!!)

Just finished reading Liz Byrski's The Woman Next Door. Wonderful honest intelligent read about senior women. A must read and I felt it was a real gift to read a novel that treats older women in an intelligent way in this modern world.

I've been reading a fair bit this last week as with no coverage I couldn't use my iPad. I finished Kathy Reichs, the latest Stella Rimington, a romance novel and am now reading Rachael John's ( a friend of DD) latest book before it is released on my Kindle. I also have my Sony ereader with me in case I run out!! Not much chance of that.

Love to see what everyone is reading. Thanks for sharing. . I mostly read thrillers at night to put me to sleep.
The Rosie project was great, but didn't enjoy the Rosie Effect.
Have recently read all of John Dunnings, mostly about the book collecting world in America.
Cookie, what was the last Stella Rimington book. .? I thought I had read all of hers.
Gert, thanks for the recommendation. Will follow it up.
I read on my iPad. Buy books from Kobo.

It's called Breaking Cover Chookie. I have only bought it recently. I'm reading The Graziers Wife at the moment. Thoroughly enjoying it.

I'm half way through Karen Slaughter's latest called The Kept Woman. I'm loving it. DD and I heard Karen Slaughter speak several years ago in Melbourne.
I'm hanging out for a trip to Melbourne. It doesn't look like I will get one this year. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DD has a big conference on, but it is here! I can't be bothered going by myself.

Reading Matthew Reilly's Ice Station, does not belong to the genres I usually read but find this interesting.. A colleague suggested it to me if I wanted a gripping book, and it is actually nice.. an Action packed thriller

I read and enjoyed Burial Rites by Hannah Kent. Is the new one worth reading Courton ?
Since I was last listing my books I've read The Girl on the Train, not sure if I liked it, JD Robb's latest and I'm reading a book by Bronwyn Parry at the moment. I thought she wrote romance but this is a thriller so far but I can see a romance blooming. I'm loving it. Book club tonight, so I wonder what will be the next book there.
I read Ice Station long ago Thermilover. I enjoyed it, but haven't read very many of his since, only a couple I think.
