My big boy turned 4 today. These are his cupcakes for tonight made with Bimby chocolate cake and buttercream icing. This is my first choice for all birthday cakes now. The kids love it.

Thank you Sue. The two tone is really easy to do. Make your icing as normal then split it in two. I coloured one half blue then left the other half natural. Depending on your icing bag will depend on your next step. I have a Tupperware icing tool and just placed the blue on one side and the white on the other. As you squeeze down it kind of mixes together. If you are using a more traditional icing bag you can separate your icing with disposable bags inside the icing bag...so fill one bag with blue and the other bag with natural and place both bags inside a piping bag. Hope that makes sense.

It looks so much more complicated than it actually is!
