I can't bring myself to buy Devon. But we did have it on sandwiches as a kid with tomato sauce.

When I was a little girl growing up in nz, it was luncheon. Hence being named luncheon egg luncheons,  really original!   :-))

My Thermi came yesterday and for lunch today I cooked sweet corn cobs in the  veroma tray.  Absolutely delicious,  will never cook them any other way,  very proud of myself:)

Well done penny. Many are very hesitant to use the varoma so you are doing well!

I agree with INAID Penny, most of us waited ages before using our varoma - not sure what was so scary about it now though.

Just eaten the pumpkin soup and bread rolls,  absolutely delicious.  Used a Laucke bread mix,  multigrain, soy and linseed.  I need to get Trevor to take me shopping to get lots of ingredients for my cooking.  Need things that he hasn't bought before and as I can't write down exactly the brand etc I need to go with him.  Not sure how we will go,  first time in the wheelchair in a supermarket :)

Found a new website this morning, liked what I saw so ordered the book from Amazon.  From the recipes they have online I made Roasted brussel sprouts with Dijon & garlic to go with a small piece of curried tuna slice for lunch today.  The sprouts were oh so good, will post the recipe.

Hmmm - must be naughty lunch day - I had a rum & coke (to socialize with a very kind friend who came to give me a hand today seeing as I couldn't do much) and some crackers, followed by a honey sandwich... ??? :-\ :-[
