Judy, give Geoff a hug from us.
This massive chook just fitted into the Thermo steamer. I used the yum Cha class recipe.   Be warned the rice completely fills the basket when cooked.

A late luch today at Harry's Cafe de Wheels. I thought it fitting that after DH becoming an Aussie that he celebrated with a pie floater.

Congratulations to your DH on becoming an Australian citizen.

I had a flat tyre and instead of waiting at the service station went across the road to Grill'd and had the most scrumptious Zucchini chips. Does anybody have a good recipe for this? It was coated in what seemed like "salt and pepper" batter and fried. I would, of course, use an air fryer for this.

All those lunches sound so lovely. I agree about DH having a pie floater Mich.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I made the kids this nacho recipe for lunch today http://www.recipetineats.com/ripper-beef-nachos/ with the addition of some beans as they are Mexican food lovers and apparently you can't have nachos without beans!

It makes heaps and they loved it.  I imagine they will be taking the leftovers home.

We had smoked salmon salad for lunch today - and the kids surprised me by eating it with no complaints - (lettuce & tomato are the main things they usually complain about!!) I had steamed some sausages for them but they are still sitting in the rice basket in the kitchen!!!  ;D

I was running late to visit DH & Mum today so I just grabbed a roll and put vegemite on it to eat whilst Geoff ate his lunch.  Will have something more substantial for tea tonight.

Today's weather was just right for soup so I made some Make and Go Soup from Slice of Health.  Quick and easy and very nice.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
