I have been given 8 litres of milk I'll try making some ricotta, I have plenty of yogurt. Can anyone suggest what I could do with the the rest.

gnocchi di ricotta
lasange with ricotta
crepes with ricotta and spinach
stuffed pasta shells
ricotta pancakes
are you a freezer SueJen ?

Thanks fundj, yes do have room in the freezer but hadn't thought of all those things I could do with ricotta. Thanks again

Good one Uni, ricotta uses up a lot of milk.
Can you make bechamel, cheese sauce etc & freeze?

Have spinach growing, were having problems with chooks getting out and they love spinach but have been able to keep them in
so lots growing now

Hadn't really thought about freezing but if ricotta freezes well, will make all ricotta thanks lots fundj

I"ve just had a look and it is the same recipe. I will try making it without the cream if thats the way you do it. Everything you make looks really great.

Just made my first batch, tastes great. Will make up the rest of the milk now.
When I had a good look at the bottles they had about 1/4 of cream on top so just tried the first lot without adding cream.
I guess if you get good milk you don't need the cream added.
This milk came from Jersey cows.
