I used to work near Gouger St and shop at the central market - I really miss it.
DH still talks about the enormous goat leg that hung over his plate at Gauchos. I haven't been there since I was taken by a client who didn't drink much and ordered a very sweet Riesling to go with our meal. ::

There will be others wanting to eat out on Thursday night too Gretchen.  ES I love Paul's too - I used to go there for lunch sometimes when I was 17 and worked in town and Geoff and I have been in a couple of times these past few years.  House of Chow menu looks good Gert.

ES it was the goats leg on the BBQ I first saw through the window that drew me to the place many years ago. Then the offal platter with kidneys, sweetbreads, brains and the rest.

You girls won't be hungry for a few days after eating at  chookies JD? LOL!

We get back from Chookies on the Tuesday afternoon so if CC and I don't eat anything until we hit town on Thursday afternoon, we should be right Gretchen  ;D    No that won't work, we're going to lunch on the Wednesday before we go off and have our pamper afternoon - do you want to know about that?

OK, we are going to wander around the village like atmosphere of Semaphore Road in the morning (including popping in to see Geoff at Morpeth) then will be having lunch at the Palais on the foreshore before our 2pm appointment at a local salon where we are going to have a hairdo, manicure and pedicure whilst drinking coffee and maybe sipping some bubbly if the owner remembers to get it in for us.  We will both then be relaxed and ready to meet and greet all the interstaters the next day at the Crowne Hotel.

Sounds like a perfect way to spend the day with CC Judy.  :D

Mine will be half bought and half home made.
It will be interesting to see the array of goodies, very exciting!

Oops, Katie has just reminded me of one person whom I left off the goody bag list so I apologise for that error and Kim, I can be the one to miss out on the gifts you ordered.  The number is now 14.  So sorry about that.
